Below is free software. I like it and use it often.
| IrfanView | Very fast image viewer and batch conversion file for images. |
| FileZilla | Simple FTP software. |
| Paint.Net | An open source image editing tool. It does many similar functions as Photoshop. |
| ZipCentral | Zip utility you don't have to be bothered about registering |
| FireFox | My main web browser. Mouse Gestures and Tabbed Browsing make surfing much, much better. Use the Google search bar as well. |
| Picasa | Great photo organizing tool from Google. Lets you go through all of your pictures very quickly. Even reads a lot of RAW formats. |
| Google Desktop | Search for files on your computer faster than doing Google web searches. Very handy compared to using Explorer. I prefer it over the MSN Search and Yahoo Search. |
| PDF Creator | Let's you print pdf format files just like using a printer. |
| Gmail | The free Google email app. I love using Gmail - very fast and tons of space (over 2.5 Gb), and a Gmail notifier when emails come in. You need to receive an invitation to get a Gmail account from someone that has one. Let me know if you need one. |
| iTunes | Apple's music organizer/player and movie player - very fast searching. |
| Inkscape | A vector based drawing program (similar to Illustrator). Very fast and easy to use. Create logos, etc. |
| Microsoft Antispyware | Seems to work well at keeping my computer free of spyware. |
| Nvu | A free website builder. Similar but not as powerful as Dreamweaver and Frontpage. Builds sites like this simply. |

| finance.yahoo.com | I like the way there stock summaries and information show up better than others. |
| www.engadget.com | A daily listing of what is the latest in consumer electronics. A lot of interesting early prototypes show up. |
| www.core77.com | An industrial design site updated daily with the latest going on in the design world. A lot of links to design firms. |
| www.fool.com | A good listing of stock and finance articles updated daily. |
| www.fortune.com | Good summary of business news articles. |
| www.forbes.com | Business news as well, articles on what rich people do. |
| www.inc.com | Articles related mainly to entrepreneurial endeavors. |
| www.thestreet.com | Stock articles. I mainly go there to listen to Jim Cramer's daily internet radio stock show. |
| www.fastcompany.com | More good business articles. |
| www.foldershare.com | Currently free service that lets you store files on a server (up to 2 Gb) and access anywhere. Will automatically sync files after being updated. |
| www.dpreview.com | Digital Photography site. A lot of reviews, news, and discussions related to everything with digital photography. |
